Meet the Class of 2029

The class of 2029 is taking the lead with more incoming students this year, which is well over last year’s total of 349 students. This year, the Class of 2029 has 380 students and 80 transfer students.

These students come from 17 different states, some as far as Oregon, as well as 29 countries, including Colombia, India, Israel, Nepal, Albania, the Czech Republic, Vietnam, Serbia, Belarus, and Canada.

Sixty-one percent of this year’s students are first-generation college students, and 25 have family members attending Neumann University. Thirty students are members of the National Honor Society.

About 31% of students are student-athletes. Everyone receives some type of award.

According to Francesca Reed, vice president for enrollment management and marketing, ā€œEverybody gets a merit award when they are accepted into Neumann University.ā€

Srdan Vujanovic, who goes by ā€œVuja,ā€ is a transfer student from Serbia. His major is communications and digital media, and he will be playing basketball this fall. He heard about Neumann University from a coach.

He hadn’t visited the campus before enrolling, but he had seen the virtual tour. He expected the campus to look the same as in the video, and it did when he arrived.

Another first-year student, Morgan Green, is from West Philadelphia, and her major is nursing. She heard about Neumann from someone who visited her school to talk about the university and see if anyone was interested.

She took a campus tour in the summer and decided to join the nursing program at Neumann. She expected the campus to be close-knit and thought there would be a church on site. She lives on campus and advises her classmates, ā€œMake sure you do your work.ā€
