Knights Get Back On Track, Shutting out Cedar Crest: A Photo Essay

Photos by Will Karwoski

Neumann field hockey made light work of the Cedar Crest falcons, shutting them out and winning with a score of 3-0.

After a goal from forward Molly McGee, in the 25th minute, the knights didn’t look back.

Going into the second half, the knights added to their one goal lead only three minutes in, with a goal from Cadence Conti, on an assist from McGee.

This game against Cedar Crest was a big game for junior, McGee, tallying a season high in both goals and assists.

Shortly after Conti’s goal, Elle Smith was able to follow up on a shot for a goal of her own, sealing the deal and assuring the win for the knights.

The knights snapped a 3-game losing streak to Cedar College, a team they historically dominated. The knights held a 15-0 record over Cedar Crest prior to losses in 2019,2021, and 2023.

Surely, this was a feel-good win for the team, snapping a three-game losing streak at home in Aston.
