Knight Life: Philadelphia Restaurants to Try

Philadelphia is home to hundreds of hidden gems, including a multitude of restaurants. If you’re looking for a new restaurant to try, check out the places below!

Ginza | 1100 S Front St | Philadelphia, PA 19147

Located in Philly, Ginza is an authentic Japanese cuisine restaurant. Their menu features ramen, udon, rice dishes, and various different sushis, all at an affordable price. While the parking may be difficult to find, the seating within the restaurant provides a comfortable environment. The staff are incredibly kind and offer great service. My personal favorite dish is the spicy miso ramen! The plating of the food is gorgeous and the taste of the food will satisfy all your cravings.

Positano Coast | 212 Walnut St | Philadelphia, PA 19106

The perfect restaurant for brunch, Positano Coast offers authentic Italian-style cuisine. Positano Coast’s menu includes seafood, sandwiches, pastas, and alcoholic drinks for those of age. Be aware that all card payments will incur a 3% surcharge. The restaurant includes a live DJ and has a dance floor on the side of the main seating area. The food is delicious, and the ambiance of the restaurant creates a classy yet comfortable feeling.

Sky High | 1 N 19th St | Philadelphia, PA 19103

Though it is on on the pricier side, Sky High is a beautiful restaurant that is perfect for a fancy night out. The restaurant is located 60 floors above the ground and once you enter the lobby, you’ll be directed into a clear elevator overlooking the city. After going up 60 floors, the lobby of the restaurant features a wall of flowers for guests to take pictures. After checking in for your reservation, the main floor seating features an indoor waterfall, a live performer, and glass windows surrounding the entire room. The menu features breakfast, brunch, dinner, dessert items and alcoholic beverages. The dinner menu features caviar dishes, pizzas, pasta, and other meat dishes.

Philadelphia is home to a variety of different cultures, and this is reflected in the different food options available. While some restaurants are in the pricier range, there are various affordable restaurants within the city!
