Jose Alvarado Likes to Eat. | Around South Philly Ep. 9

Pull up a chair and join Danica and Cole for another episode of Around South Philly — loud, chaotic, and completely unserious, just the way Philly sports should be.

This week, the Phillies are already giving us plenty to freak out about. Dante Nori is bopping .438, Aaron Nola casually revealed his favorite pasta shape is “noodles,” and now we’re debating if Stubby belongs in the outfield. Baseball season, please hurry.

The Eagles have Goedert back, Hollywood Brown is officially WR3, and the gang is already having opinions about what that means. Honestly, it’s just fun to watch all the moves and wonder what’s next.

The Sixers are still limping through injuries, but Quinten Grimes is having some big games. It’s enough to make us excited… or at least mildly entertained.

The Flyers are chaos as usual. Cutter Gauthier keeps stomping against the team he didn’t want to play for, giving Cole and Danica endless fuel to scream, rant, and make jokes. It’s maddening, it’s hilarious, and it’s everything you want from Flyers coverage.

Plus, we check in on Philly Sports Superstitions, figure out which Wawa warmer snack each Phillies player would be, and wrap things up with Awards of the Week, because some things just need to be celebrated… or roasted.

General Discussion: 0:31 Our Super Totally Definitely Not Biased Assumptions: 7:39 Awards of the Week: 20:40

If you live and breathe Philly sports (and the chaos that comes with it), you’re in the right place. Tune in next week for more wacky, emotional, South Philly sports nonsense with Danica and Cole.
