[TRIGGER WARNING: WE KNOW THE TV IS CROOKED! WE TRIED FIXING IT. IT WAS NOT HAPPENING.] Pull up a chair and buckle up — Danica and Cole are back with a new and improved episode of Around South Philly. It’s loud, emotional, wildly opinionated, and deeply unserious… exactly how Philly sports should be.
In this episode, we had to get a little creative. With the Super Bowl behind us and the NFL officially done (even though we’re somehow still talking about Jalen Hurts), Philly sports hit a weird lull.
The Flyers are on pause for the Olympic break. The Sixers are still in mourning over Jared McCain. And we still don’t know how to feel about that Phillies offseason. So naturally… we spiraled. That led us straight into debates about the Puppy Bowl, AI commercials, and whatever else our brains could grab onto.
Plus, a brand-new segment makes its debut: “Our Super Totally Definitely Not-Biased Assumptions.” This week, we put our expert, absolutely unbiased brains to work making cereal-based assumptions about Philadelphia athletes. Science? No. Vibes? Absolutely.
