Living Black History

On this episode of Living Black History,  we explore the history of the Nile Swim Club with past-president Anthony Patterson. Sr. and. Robert Kodosky, author of The Nile Swim Club of Yeadon: A History. When African American’s were denied entry into a local swim club in Yeadon, Pa., they started their own. Since 1959, the club has provided aquatic, civic, social, and cultural opportunities for area African Americans.
